Clubs to pay a nominal £5 per kit per event (£10 where the North and South kits are combined for a large event);
Hire fee for 'dibbers' - 50p each;
Charge for lost or broken 'dibbers' - at current cost. (It was suggested that clubs might wish to meet this cost themselves where newcomers are concerned so as not to deter their continuing interest.);
Lose or damage to equipment is to be charged to the club concerned. A charge list should be compiled and sent to clubs for their information.

For further information and rates for non-WOA clubs contact Graham Tough.

This equipment, purchased with the help of a 70% grant from SPORTLOT Lottery funding, is now a reality. In fact, things have come full circle. Whereas 18 months to 2 years ago Welsh events had to hire SI equipment, we have now been in the business of hiring it out ourselves, notably to the SWOA to augment their equipment for JK 2002.

The printers, which produce the competitors' split times, are the talk of the town (well, the assembly area at least!!). The speed at which they produce the printouts is quite remarkable. The battery power system has received plaudits, doing away with the need for generators and their accompanying noise.

The electronic punching working party consisting of Graham Tough (Leader), Adrian Moir and Judith Powell, are to be congratulated on their hard work bringing this project to such a successful conclusion.

This equipment is available for club use, with one set in the North and one in the South (held by Steve Jones - SBOC). Costs to clubs will be minimal (there are some running costs). Training in its use is available through Judith Powell, and on-the-day assistance can be arranged.
